Curriculum

Statement of Mission and Purpose:

The purpose of Me and My Friends Preschool
​is to provide safe, responsible care in a
loving Christian environment; while
providing age appropriate education
for preschool learning.
Class content will be thematic
and biblically based.


What to expect from
Me & My Friends Preschool:

Our goal is to lay the foundation for your child’s success in preschool, pre-k and beyond.
And have FUN doing it!
We will use a variety of techniques, songs, games, and activities to accomplish this.

Daily Activities:
Spanish Class ​

PLAYING AND HAVING FUN!!!
​Focused on Learning:

Language Arts:
  • Recite the alphabet.
  • Write capital and lower case letters of the alphabet.
  • Name the sound of each letter.
  • Identify some words that begin with each letter.
  • Write your name using capital and lower case letters.
  • Recognize and name colors.
  • Weather and Seasons.
  • Learning to recognize and read several sight words. 
Math:
  • Count to 30 (3 year olds), Count to 100 (pre-k).
  • Recognize and write the numbers 1-10 (3 year olds)
  • and the numbers 1-20 (pre-k).
  • Complete patterns.
  • Match colors, pictures, letters, and numbers.
  • Identifying small, medium, and large.
Identify shapes:
  • Circle, square, triangle, star, rectangle, heart,​octagon, oval, and diamond.

Preschool Skills:
  • Becoming more independent.
  • Using good manners.
  • Taking turns, sharing, and helping others.
  • Sitting on our pockets and being
  • quiet during instruction time.
  • Raising our hands to answer questions.
  • Reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
  • Using scissors to cut along lines.
  • Using glue and glue sticks appropriately.
  • Holding crayons, markers, and pencils appropriately.
  • Tracing letters, numbers and shapes.
  • Lacing, coloring, and painting.
